Have you ever experienced a demon before???
5 Votes in Poll
I love the original but I don't mind the direction this film took. If you're going to make a continuation of a controversial film it naturally needs more controversy like a child going to Hell.
This is what I want for Deceiver and the third film I would call Redeemer.
Deceiver starts three years later Angela is confirmed to still be possessed by the demon confirmed to be Lamashtu. The families try to unite even more faiths. Regan offers to help as her mom has passed away in her sleep. Tony seeks to atone for his sin for attempting to sacrifice Angela and if possible, to save Katherine’s soul or at least stay with her in Hell with faith Jesus will save them when he returns.
Deceiver ends with Regan praying to God to help or to send help with her being drawn outside when the shape of Pazuzu in the clouds appears behind her a gust of wind, and a man appears behind her to offer help with Regan regaining her memories and acknowledging him as Captain Howdy with the possessed Angela realizing and acknowledging Pazuzu’s presence.
Redeemer is the final confrontation to save Angela’s soul begins with the help from the most unlikely ally of all: Pazuzu.
Redeemer ends with Pazuzu successfully exorcizing Lamashtu from Angela and while grateful Regan tells him she can never forgive him for possessing her, let alone raping her to which Pazuzu says “Good”. The final scene is Tony in Hell desperately going towards Katherine reaching out for her hand and the two manage to touch fingertips as the film ends. We will never know if they will be freed or not but they at least found each other again.
Is my idea perhaps too much fan fiction? Absolutely but Believer is one too so go for it. The reason why I think Angela is still possessed is because in the final scene I think she she smiles slightly but I'll need to re-watch it.

The heroes get unexpected help from the most unlikely ally of all: Pazuzu.
In its culture Pazuzu goes both ways and can be used against Lamashtu so..............

Eyo! I'm Lostris, a Fandom WIki Representatives working with entertainment communities. Per good tradition, Halloween is the time of year to celebrate the dark side of entertainment, and that's exactly why I'm here!
Rather than just me telling people in a horror-themed blog at the end of the month about why celebrating Halloween is fun and watching horror movies is a whole mood, we'd like the users of our horror communities to be the ones to tell others. You're the experts after all!
As such, I would love it if you could share some of your experiences and insights with me, so I could -- with your permission of course -- quote you in the blog. If you don't know where to start, I'd love to hear more about:
Why do you love horror?
Why do you work on horror wikis?
Do you like being scared by horror stories?
Why should anyone give horror stories a try?
What do you like about your/the horror community?
What is your favorite horror movie that you wish everyone would watch?
You don't have to answer all. Any and all opinions you have are fine.
Can't wait to hear back from all of you!
Was The Exorcist based on real events?
Is "Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist" a prequel to "Exorcist: The Beginning"???
Season 1 Episode 8. A priest and an exorcist walk into a bar. No really, they did. And there is an amazing slide guitarist and blues singer on stage. anyone have any idea who she may be? Can't find her anywhere online yet. And. There's no way she was a fake musician. She wasn't some slinky blonde grinding on stage. She was a heavy set middle aged white lady with big ol guitar god hands. Looking like the real deal. So unlikely for a tv series, I did a double take. I gotta hear more!
It's how the world in which The Exorcist goes. It's a Judaic-Christian Christian universe or it has something more complicated because Pazuzu is from another mythology, so he's kind of a demonic deity, independent of God, because I saw that he was not affected by the cross in a scene from an episode , but I only see this scene, I'll still start watching the scene.

Have fun!
I just rewatched the series for a refresher before Season 2 starts (so hyped!). One thing I don't understand; what is the importance of killing the Pope and the importance of who does it? Does whoever kills him get some special power (and if they do, what power is it and which episode does it reference)? I ask because in Chapter 9, when Angela is possessed by Pazuzu, that scene where Simon says he's planned the Pope visit for 6 years he "should have the honor...". But Pazuzu strong arms everyone in the room I'm assuming so she could kill the Pope instead of Simon. Any speculation, theories, explanation is welcome!
