However, such is fate, that she was possessed by a stubborn demonic entity sometime in the past. Father Lamont, who is on an expedition to explore the conductance of exorcisms in South-America, is present to perform the exorcism of Healing Girl. Healing Girl says to Father Lamont her final words that she heals the sick. Freeing herself from the women, she inadvertently knocks the lit candles over and sets the place on fire. She sets herself on fire unintentionally and immolates herself at the hands of the merciless demon. Lamont attempts to save her, but the people hold him back, witnessing Healing Girl burn to flames. Fire surrounds Healing Girl and engulfs her, killing her. As a result, after fire burns her, Healing Girl dies and does not make it.
